Rosé Gold Diamond Rings
Red or rosé gold gets its special color tone by adding copper. Similar to other alloys copper hardens the rather soft material gold. In order to fascilitate jewelry manufacturing silver and palladium are also included in the alloy mix. Depending on the percentage of gold, copper and silver the result can be color shades varying from a fine rosé tone to rust red color. The correct proportion makes the difference: Alloys of 8 Karat (333) look more like copper while 18K (750) tends to look like rosé. The latter is considered more precious and desirable. Diamant Agentur offers rosé gold in 18K for the jewelry series. Other alloys such as 14K or 8K we sell on demand only.
